Its been a few days but alot has gone on! Remington had his first boo boo requiring a bandaid! Wednesday night I went to the gym and left Remington at Paw and Gee Gee's house and when I came to pick him up I hung out for a bit afterward since daddy hasn't been getting home till later in the evening. We were all watching tv in the living room, Paw and Gee Gee have their tv set up on this old metal cook stove and they often open the oven door for Remington to pull himself up on and watch tv...Well none of us noticed there was a small square cut out for a latch or something, of course Remington fell down and got his little thumb stuck in the hole and ripped some of the skin off of his thumb! He was bleeding and crying pretty loudly so I scooped him up and my mom went and grabbed some peroxide and a bandaid...Once we started doctoring Remington up he was much more interested in what we were doing and what the heck that thing on his finger was. He kept putting his thumb in his mouth like how do I get this thing off. He did pretty good at not pulling it off and now his boo boo is healing well. Yesturday we (by we I mean Remington and I, daddy was working) went to visit some friends of Luke's and mine, Troy and Julianne, they have three children, Olivia, Haiden and Sophia....Sophia is two weeks older than Remington. Well, Sophia and Remington are both learning to give kisses, and we got the sweetest picture of the two of them smooching on the couch. Maybe Julie will e-mail the picture so I can post it! It was sooo cute! So Remington already has his first kiss under his belt :P and with an older woman too lol. I can't wait to see what friends they become when they are older since they are so close in age. Well all you thrill seeking adventure fans there is more to come next week so until then!

Adventures in My Bedroom.
Remington has quite a bit of fun in his bedroom, especially now that he can take full advantage of it with his new crawling and standing skills. I can't believe how big he is getting, he isn't a baby anymore, he is a little boy now. It makes me proud but I also have a little twinge of sadness because its a little overwhelming to realize that your baby is growing up, I don't know what it is going to feel like when he gets old enough for school. I am sure all of you moms and dads out there know exactly what I am feeling. I was reading some books to Remington yesturday and he was cracking me up because he would get sooo excited when I would make animal noises and then he would try to imitate them but they just turned out sounding like a wounded cow hahaha. He will get it sooner or later. Some of Remington's favorite books right now are: Elmer's Friends, Moo Baa LaLaLa, Antlers Forever, and Little Tom Turkey. He has grown more of an interest in books just recently... now instead of just trying to grab the book out of my hands to put into his mouth he actually will sit and listen and watch as I turn the page. Isn't it amazing how little minds work. After we read Remington decided he wanted to climb on his hippo ride on toy. Which he found his hanging toy organizer and thought that it would be cool to touch that but didn't realize that it moves and fell right on his noggin, then he looked at me like " Why didn't you tell me that was going to move?" I know its always my fault :) Oh by the way to all of you who don't live in Baker....We woke up this morning to snow on the ground! I can't wait till it is warmer so that Remington can play outside. I want to get him some outside toys for his birthday and make our yard nice so that he can play outside alot this summer. He is going to look sooo cute in his little shorts, he will actually have some legs to fill them out this summer, last summer he was so scrawny that he looked like he was drowning in his little newborn shorts. haha. Well, I guess thats about all for today. Stay Tuned......

The Adventures Begin!
So Although Remington is fastly approaching his first birthday I thought that I would start a blog to chronicle his adventures as a toddler. Remington has already had quite a few of adventures for only being 10 1/2 months old, but I think the new ones he encounters will be alot more exciting for not only his dad and I but also for him. To start things off I think that I should quickly highlight what Remington's current adventures are: Remington is getting quite mobile as he can now quickly cruise across the floor to what ever he pleases with bullet like quickness and speed. He demonstrated that to us one evening when Luke ( his Dad ) put him in the middle of the living room sat down his drink on the coffee table and then walked into the kitchen to grab something and walked back in to find Remington standing up by the coffee table holding Luke's full beer in one hand and smiling at him. Nice Job Dad. :)
Remington is also learning to wave which he finds himself pretty cool for. He is getting better about waving on demand but he used to need the assistance of mom and dad to hold up his arm for him so that he could wave his fingers. That still occurs every now and then but now he can do it on his own and demonstrates quite often that he can. He also thought that waving was when he put the backside of his hand over his mouth and made indian sounds to his cousins, Lauren and Abbey, which was pretty humorous to both of the girls as well as the rest of the family.
His newest trick is giving kisses. I don't think I have ever had a sweeter kiss! Its definitely one of those rewarding moments as a mother. He leans in with his mouth wide open and gives you a slobber filled smooch. He is pretty selective as to when and who he is giving them too. When he gives them to daddy or paw paw he always wrinkles up his nose afterwards because I think their mustache's tickle his face.
Some things we have to look forward to are, walking, his first birthday, his first words ( although he does say Da Da and Ba Ba but not to the correct person or object ) and much much more so stay tuned to here all " About A Busy Boy."
