Well, After quite a long break we are back. So here's a little summary of July so you get all caught up on our adventures.

Remington had his first popsicle all by himself in July. Talk about one sticky boy. He was covered. Red popsicle all down his belly and boy was it cold. He did a good job though, none of it hit the ground. But as you can see there not much food that hits the ground with this big kid! Hahaha..
Of course there was the excitement of the 4th of July and since last year Remington had NO idea what was going on I thought that this year would be more fun for him. We took him to the ever exciting Haines Parade, and met up with his other four cousins there. Lauren, Caiden, and Abbey had a good time trying to get the candy that they parade participants throw out to the kids, and Remington and Arissa had a good time watching them from the wagon. Uncle Will was nice enough to give them some smarties so that they could feel apart of the candy excitement. All in all I think Remington and Arissa had more fun just riding in the wagon than watching the parade. We also took Remington to the Rodeo. He liked watching the Horses run around the arena and the calfs run from the ropers but even that got a little boring so we took him to Gee Gee and Paw's house. Then we went to a BBQ and then we went with Uncle Natie and Aunt Steph to watch the big fireworks at the Haines Stampede Grounds. Remington didn't really like how loud they were but once we sat in the pickup and watch them then he really liked them. I got him to say BOOM every time they went up in the sky. It was a good 4th. I know they are only going to get better as the years go by.
We also took a trip to the Sumpter Flea Market over the 4th Of July weekend. The Market was less than awe inspiring. It keeps getting smaller and smaller. But we saw the train, and did some walking around. We saw this little shop on our way into Sumpter that caught our eye so as we left we decided to go and check it out. They had some really cute things. But the best part was the little photo guys out in front. We couldn't resist the Kodak moment.
Lastly I built Remington a sandcastle in his new sandcastle that Paw built for him for his birthday. He was hanging out in Gee's garden and so I got plenty of time to make a big castle and fence for him to crash when he came back. Boy was he excited when he saw all those things he could knock over... It didn't take long for Remington Benson to turn in to....REMIZILLA! He knocked that castle down to smithereens! Took me about 30 mins to build the thing and Remizilla all of about 3 mins to destroy it, We will try it again soon to see if we can break that record.
